備前の胎土を原土から扱い、まずは土作りをするところから私の創作は始まっています
どんなに手間と時間はかかっても「美」への憧れは決して妥協を許すことなくその想いは土に刻まれていきます
渾身の研究の成果が今ここに実を結び 備前の良質な胎土に独自調合した鉱物と酸化金属を組み合わせ、鮮やか色彩を吹き込むことに成功しました偶然からは決して得ることができない胎土との調和は、飽くなき美への追求と、果てしなく繰り返したテスト焼成の賜物と深く満足しております。色の奥行きと鮮やかさ、そして造形。

The style Bizen-yaki was born in the province of Bizen in Okayama prefecture. It is one of the oldest style among Japanese pottery which art continues since the early Middle Age. I use the original clay of Bizen then mix it to get the best material and give birth to my creation. My admiration for beauty never accepts an easy way even if it takes a lot of time and work to get a good material.
Mixing clay and certain minerals and metallic oxyde, gives me satisfaction today; I
was finally successful in obtaining a colorful art of work.
The nice match between clay and art is the fruit of my hard work, experimentations
and numerous tries. The depth of the color, the plastic ...
After a life dedicated to give birth to clay as art, i am honored to invite you to come and admire the original beauty of the clay of Bizen.
Le style Bizen-yaki né dans la province de Bizen de la préfecture d’Okayama, est un des plus anciens styles de poteries japonaises dont la technique persiste tel quelle depuis le haut Moyen Age. J’utilise la terre d’origine que je mélange afin d’obtenir la matière première qui donnera
naissance à ma création. Mon aspiration spirituelle est intransigeante dans son cheminement créatif vers la beauté et s’exprime toujours à travers la matière.
Je ne céde à aucun compromis et bien au contraire, mon art requiert
un patient et long mûrissement.
Ma longue recherche porte ses fruits aujourd’hui en combinant
à la terre de Bizen certains minéraux et oxydes métalliques; j’ai ainsi réussi à obtenir au sein de mon oeuvre une coloration éclatante.
La belle rencontre de la matière devenue artistique résulte inévitablement
de mes recherches et d’essais infructueux. La profondeur de la couleur,
l’éclat et la plastique... . Après une vie consacrée à donner naissance à la matière en tant qu’art, je me fais un honneur de vous inviter à venir contempler la beauté inédite de la terre de Bizen.
